Monash University Equipment Reuse Program
The Monash University Furniture and Equipment Reuse Program is in full swing providing faculties and departments with a very cost effective and immediate solution to their furniture needs.
A large variety of furniture is immediately available, and once selected delivery averages 2-5 days. Prices average $40 - $200 per item, offering savings of between 60 - 90% off the recommended retail price. These minimal costs cover the storage, handling and operational costs of running the program.
Faculties and departments are encouraged to donate surplus furniture to the program rather than storing or throwing away. Any furniture unable to be reused within the University is then offered to staff, student groups & charities. Donations can be made by emailing reuse@monash.edu or contacting Sabrina.Martenstyn@monash.edu phone 9902 4839.
Furniture reuse diverts waste from landfill and conserves resources, energy and water during production processes. In short, reuse makes good environmental and economic sense.

The Furniture and Equipment Reuse webstore is available at http://www.monashreuse.com.au
Departments are now able to browse the online store for products at a fraction of the cost of new items. New products will continue to be uploaded onto the site as they become available.

WHERE
The warehouse is located at Bld 205 Clayton Campus - 738 Blackburn Rd, Clayton (Cnr Martin & Duerdin St). Click here for map.
WHEN
The warehouse is open every Tuesday between 10am and 2pm. Departments, staff, students and charities are welcome to come and inspect the items on offer. The warehouse is closed on university holidays.
