Staff and students enjoy fair trade at Monash
Monash staff and students browsed through stalls and enjoyed free samples of fair trade tea, coffee and chocolate during the Monash Fair Trade launches held at Clayton and Caulfield campuses.
The launches were held to celebrate Monash becoming one of only four fair trade universities in Australia.
The events, which were held in mid October showcased fair trade goods and services available at the University through providers and vendors and also gave visitors the opportunity to view and purchase fair trade products.
Corporate Express, The Monash Shop, World Vision, Oxfam, Jasper, Coffex, Jinta/Etiko and SerenTEA were a few of the fair trade organisations on site to showcase their wares.
