Staff and students take the pledge...

So far over 1200 staff and students at Monash University have already pledged to take action to reduce their environmental impact. The Monash Environmental Pledge is a new initiative developed by the Office of Environmental Sustainability to encourage individual action amongst staff and students. The pledge includes simple actions that everyone can take to reduce water, energy, waste and the impact of travel and food production on the environment.

The online pledge asks you to indicate your commitment to the above areas and only takes 2-3 minutes to complete.

Most exciting, for every staff and student at Monash that pledges their commitment online, Monash will commit $5 to onsite renewable energy projects each year!
