The start of semester signals the start of the 601 at Monash Clayton
Monash staff and students, along with CSIRO staff and JMSS staff and students, have enthusiastically jumped on-board the 601 express bus from Huntingdale station to the Clayton campus (every four minutes). All reports are positive, with the service meeting the needs of the users.
The fantastic 601 promotion team have been out and about at Huntingdale station and the bus loop to encourage and guide passengers to the 601. The cardboard bus was a hit, with it appearing on Twitter and facebook. The 601 promotion team’s tenure came to an end after two weeks, with some lamenting the lack of their presence. “I miss the cute 601 bus boy” was the theme of a conversation overheard on the 601 to Huntingdale one evening. A big thank-you to everyone for jumping on-board and to the promotion team.
A big congratulations also go to the winners of the 601 competition.
They will receive free public transport for a month. Pictured below are some of the winners.
