Inter-campus travel by shuttle
The University provides shuttle buses between Clayton and the Peninsula, Berwick and Caulfield campuses for staff and students to use to access their secondary campus for study and teaching. The buses are free and the timetable is available online - http://www.fsd.monash.edu.au/travel-parking/travel/inter-campus-shuttle-bus
The shuttle buses are first in, best dressed. No exceptions are made – once the buses are at capacity they cannot take any more passengers.
Brushing up on the other available inter-campus travel options is a good idea as the shuttles carry over 500,000 passengers per year!
Getting to and from Berwick
To get to Berwick campus, take a Pakenham line train to the Berwick railway station. The campus is a four-minute walk from the station. Click here for more information on how to get to our Berwick campus.
Berwick to Peninsula – Walk to Berwick Station and catch a city bound train to Dandenong. Alight at Dandenong and catch a 901 bus to Frankston Station. From Frankston Station jump on the University provided shuttle bus – http://www.fsd.monash.edu.au/travel-parking/travel/inter-campus-shuttle-bus Jump on a city bound train from Franskton station to – or walk up to campus. You will need a zone 2 ticket.
Berwick to Parkville – Take a city bound train from Berwick station to Flinders Street or Melbourne Central Station. From Flinders Street take any tram on Swanston Street. From Melbourne Central take the route 19 tram on Elizabeth Street or any tram on Swanston Street. A zone 1&2 ticket will get you there.
Berwick to Gippsland – Take a Traralgon bound V-Line service to Morwell from Berwick Station. From Morwell you can take the University provided shuttle bus (normal tickets apply), a $1 pre-booked taxi or a public bus. Go to www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au to check out the timetables. A V-Line ticket is required.
Getting to and from Caulfield
The Caulfield Railway Station is adjacent to the campus. Four lines stop at the station: Cranbourne, Dandenong, Frankston and Pakenham. Tram number three from Swanston Street in Melbourne will also take you directly to Caulfield campus. Click here for more information on how to get to our Caulfield campus.
Caulfield to Berwick – Take a Pakenham or Cranbourne train to Berwick. The campus is a short 4 minute walk from the station. A zone 1&2 ticket will get you there.
Caulfield to Peninsula – Jump on a Frankston bound train from Caulfield Station with a zone 1&2 ticket. Monash University provides a free station to campus shuttle bus, check online for the timetable - http://www.fsd.monash.edu.au/travel-parking/travel/inter-campus-shuttle-bus
Caulfield to Parkville – Take a city bound train to Flinders Street or Melbourne Central Station. From Flinders Street take any tram on Swanston Street. From Melbourne Central take the route 19 tram on Elizabeth Street or any tram on Swanston Street. A zone 1 ticket will get you there.

Getting to and from Clayton
Any of the Dandenong, Pakenham or Cranbourne line trains will take you to Huntingdale station where you can catch either the 630 or the 900 bus to the campus bus loop. Buses leave the station for Clayton campus every 15-20 minutes. Click here for more information on how to get to our Clayton campus. 601 Bus Service The 601 bus service from/to Huntingdale Station operates every four minutes between the hours of 7am to 7pm between Huntingdale/Clayton campus. No more worrying if you miss one 601 bus – another one will be there for you in just four minutes.
The 601 is a pre-paid service so you must have a valid ticket with you to board. Just use your valid zone 1 or zone 2 Metcard or myki to jump on.
Clayton to Caulfield – Take the 900 bus all the way to Caulfield and all you need is a zone 1 ticket.
Clayton to Berwick – Jump on the 630 or 900 bus to Huntingdale Station and then a Pakenham or Cranbourne train to Berwick. The campus is a short 4 minute walk from the station. A zone 2 ticket will get you there.
Clayton to Peninsula – Take the 630 bus to Ormond Station and then jump on a Frankston bound train, and all with only a zone 2 ticket. Clayton to Parkville – Alight a 630 or 900 bus to Huntingdale Station and then a city bound train to Flinders Street or Melbourne Central Station. Getting to and from Gippsland
A rail service runs to and from Melbourne seventeen times a day, Monday to Friday, twelve times on Saturday and nine times on Sunday. Train services run from the Southern Cross, Flinders Street, Caulfield or Dandenong stations. Disembark at Morwell, and cross the railway lines to the bus interchange for regular bus services to Churchill and the campus. The bus service to the campus is limited on Saturday and Sunday. Getting to and from Parkville
The college is serviced by the #19 ( North Coburg) tram that travels along Elizabeth Street and Royal Parade. A tram trip to the campus from Melbourne takes 15 minutes. You may also catch the Upfield line train from Flinders Street Station to Royal Park Railway Station. Click here for more information on how to get to our Parkville campus.

Getting to and from Peninsula
Catch a Frankston line train to Frankston and connect with buses on routes 775, 776, 782 and 783. Alternatively, you can jump on the Stony Point train to Leawarra station, which is a short walk from the campus but only runs every other hour.
